Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $30,370 to provide warm meals, support, and critical resources for homeless and at-risk youth at Teen Feed. And thanks to The Seattle Foundation’s donor pool, all GiveBIG gifts will be matched, maximizing the positive impact you make in the lives of youth. Overall, The Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG raised 12.89 million dollars through 64,000 gifts for local charities. Here’s how the GiveBIG math works at Teen Feed:
144 donations made + $30,370 raised = warm meals and life-changing connections for youth in need!
Over the past two years, Teen Feed has experienced a 41% increase in services for youth. In the last six months alone, Teen Feed has served 22% more meals to 60% more youth than the same time period last year. Teen Feed does not receive city, state or federal funding for its meal programs. The funds raised through GiveBIG, its match and our generous supporters is helping us meet this increased need, providing a consistent source of meals, support, and resources homeless and at-risk youth can rely on.
We are sincerely moved by this record-breaking support, and are so grateful for your partnership. It is our privilege to provide a safety net for youth as they meet their futures off the streets.
