The Litov family and friends gathered in the University District at 4:00pm on December 24th. A small army of smiling helpers were armed with carloads of groceries and gift bags. Their mission was to create a festive holiday celebration for homeless and street-involved youth at Teen Feed. And they succeeded!
The teams of adults and young people worked together to prep, chop, bake and spoon, preparing a hearty meal of roast chicken, broccoli and cauliflower casserole, potatoes, and pie for dessert. 42+ youth were welcomed into Teen Feed on Christmas Eve, to enjoy the feast! Alongside with the meal, the merry group set up a table full of thoughtfully assembled gift bags of basic needs items and treats for youth in attendance, ensuring youth have a little something special on the holiday eve. THANK YOU Litov Family & Friends, for creating a family-like celebration for youth in need. Cheers to you!
